I am looking to build my first gaming PC, my budget is $500, but a little above if needed is fine. This does not include the OS, keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals. If anyone can put a build together for me, I would like to have upgrade ability, I would like to have an i5 or i7 and a high end nvidia graphics card later on, but I don't want to have to buy any new parts just to do that. I am not looking do do any OCing or sli/crossfire either.

This build will perform well at 1080p (40+ FPS at ultra) and is very flexible and upgradable. In the future you could upgrade the GPU, storage, ram, etc.

That Z97 board in unnecessary, OP said he isn't overclocking, and your build has no case or storage.:heink:
