Hy,

I am getting parts to build my own computer. The only problem, I don't know what Power Supply I should your with a Asus Z170 Pro Motherboard, Intel Core i7-7700, Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1060, MHz C16 XMP 2.0 Enthusiast LED Illuminated Memory (RAM), WD Blue 2TB Desktop HDD and a Corsair Carbide 300R (case). If any of you could help me it would be nice.
By the way, this is my first build and I am no pro so any other advice you could give would be nice.

Yeah, I think that I will do that to make sure it works, thanks for your help, by the way what is kaby lake? I'm new to building a computer so

It's just the code name Intel used for their latest gen cpu lineup.

ah ok, Thanks for the help

I'll third the 2xx series motherboards. No worries about flashing the BIOS with a 7xxx series CPU if the board isn't new enough to have it done already.

Also, using https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ to build your parts list can come in handy with an estimated max power draw and parts compatibility tracking. You can add pricing manually (and links too.)

Kaby Lake is the latest CPU series from Intel and are designated as a 7000 series in name for the i3, i5, and i7 CPUs (excludes High-End DeskTop (HEDT) CPUs in the i7 family which are usually a series behind when they appear.) The previous Generation was SkyLake and was the 6000 series. The two series use the same socket, but Kaby Lake has an updated chipset.

Thanks for your help
