Hey everyone, I'm looking to build a decent pc for $600-700, can be a bit more if required. Partner already chose out a pc case that states (support ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ATX motherboard). Not too sure what that means. Case is separate budget. Looking for help to choose decent parts. Would like something with 16gb ram, preferably at least a ryzen 5 or a decent intel, a motherboard that has wifi and bluetooth already built in or decent alternatives, cpu cooler perhaps? not sure if that'd be required, giving them my old R9 290 gpu, power supply, need SSD and maybe a decent hard drive that's 1TB? Thanks. Not exactly sure what's in for 2021 despite looking around.

Edit: forgot to mention this is in CAD. Would be shopping on newegg, canadacomputers, amazon, etc I guess

I used Newegg.ca but you can probably do better on most of these parts using Amazon.ca so you don't get hosed on shipping. That Asrock board in this build has an M.2 KEY E slot which allows for that Intel Wi Fi 6 desktop kit in this build .. comes complete w/antennas. The 550w psu in this build will allow you to push cards such as the RTX 3060.

Solution
“Supports ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ATX motherboard”

If you’re still wondering, these are sizes of motherboards. Each motherboard is a size and that determines if it can fit in a case. An ATX MOBO won’t fit in a Micro-ATX case and Vice Versa. MOBO sizes are eATX, ATX (what most modern mobos use), Micro-ATX, Mini-ATX, and ITX or Mini-ITX (might be same as Mini-ATX)

TLDR: These are sizes and determine what fits.

Thanks! Looks like that Mobo is sold out every where at the moment though. Also do you think I would need a CPU fan/cooler or would this setup be fine?
Most of those new boards (B560 series) are pre-order only atm due to the fact Rocket Lake cpu's won't be officially released until the end of this month. The B560 boards work with both Comet Lake (10th gen) and the new Rocket Lake (11th gen).

Thanks. Can you recommend another motherboard with built in wifi and bluetooth that works with the CPU that you recommended though? I don't think I'd need that Wifi 6.
