Looking to build a Gaming/Streaming PC

I am about to [strike]buy[/strike] build a streaming/gaming PC at the end of the year.
Here is a list of parts I have been looking at:

CPU: probably ryzen 2700x or ryzen 2600x as they are better for my budget than i7 8700k. Is there another intel cpu worth considering?

GPU: I have been looking at Asus gtx 1070 ti

Is it good enough?

Motherboard: Asus ROG Prime X470-Pro or Asus ROG Strix Z370-H depending on which cpu I choose.

Ram: 16GB DDR4

Is it worth buying a 144hz monitor?

As far as the CPU is concerned, when gaming + streaming core count is king so the Ryzen 2700x is your best bet at that price point.

GPU will depend on the resolution you game at. at 1080p id say that gpu would be fine.
