[SOLVED] looking to build a pc for $1000

Hi im currently looking to build my gf a pc,

looking to build it over the next 1-2 months

looking to spend 1k USD 1.1k max

pc is mainly going to be used for gaming, mainly playing mmos

will be a brand new build so need os, already got peripherals,

USA,florida based
- preferably amazon,best-buy or newegg but can use other sites if needed.
seen the I5-10400f is a good priced cpu to use?
any help greatly appreciated

Hi Shayn100.

With the GPU situation and the overall price of some of the parts that we have right now I would recommend you wait before you start looking to build a PC for your gf.

Intel is releasing 11th gen in 2 days.

Wait a month to see if things gets a bit better.

You can build just about anything game worthy for less than $1k easily. As long as you don't include a decent gpu in the price, or your budget just doubled and everything else gets chopped in half.

No need of doing the build right now tho if it's only in 1-2 months.

Especially right now. Waiting is important

Graphics cards are simply not available.

If it is a must buy, then this is one of the few times I would recommend a prebuilt.
