Looking to build a Pc for photoshop and zbrush

Im trying to build my first pc. Will be using it for painting, photo editing and some 3d modelling (no animation just modelling only, if that makes a difference) and gaming in that order of importance. Budget is £1500 (maybe alittle more if absolutely necessary) for the whole build. Using photoshop and zbrush.

Any expert advice on the list of which components will best serve my needs, and reasons. The more detailed the better. thx in advance.


Been looking at 4820 or 4930 cpu???
A lga2011 mb but im not sure which???

Or can i get by with a lower cpu and not go for a 2011 socket? Decisions decisions....

If your main objectives are just 3D modeling and photo editing, this will be more than enough. But if you are interested in an AMD based alternative.

Thanks daffa. Though it was appreciated, it would have been more helpful if u stated some reasons for your choices. That way i can actually learn something.
