So I want a gaming PC but I also want to do video editing and processing 4K content, I've been out of touch with PC for a while that I'm even worried about installing the PC myself and spending this kind of money I might as well just pay someone to do it for me.

So let me try and fill in all the blanks as to what I might be asked and avoid too many back and forth questioning. Based on what I've see and read I think I want to go with ---AMD (Ryzer ThreadRipper)
-256GB of RAM 8x32gb
-1tb and 2tb NVME ssd's
-One or two RTX 3080
-Windows 10

Am I limited to very few motherboards if I want to install two graphic cards along with couple NVMe ssds? I heard the GPU's take up alot of room? I'm willing to drop it down to only 1 GPU if I'm not going to double down on the GPU power and I can definitely scale back on the RAM since 256gb might be overkill. Everything else in terms of Case, power supply, optical drive I don't know. Is this setup doable for the price range I speak of? (Canadian curreny btw, not USD)

EDITED: Corrected the CPU

You won't get 8 DIMMs in a Ryzen system. If you want 256GB RAM, then you have to go with Threadripper.

Sure. If you already had a Threadripper in mind, then your original post was misleading. There ARE Ryzen 3000x CPUs -- Like 3700x. That was what was confusing.

I apologize, it was my fault this is why I've been out of the loop for some time. I meant ThreadRipper not Ryzen 3000x. Now that we've got the CPU out of the way, how does everything else look like?
