Not a bad start but could definitely use some tweaking. I kind of question that case choice - I'm not too familiar with that brand.

For that kind of budget I'd suggest this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($214.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($142.86 @ Newegg)
Memory: Mushkin Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($48.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive...

if you can get a MSI 660 ti power edition. but if not the 660 ti is a great card by itself and its definitely a great choice.

I noticed no monitor. change your mind on needing one?

Also, the 660 ti is a great card, just a bit better on average than the 7870. It's a great value, but for future games it will lag behind the 670. But if you really aren't concern with having to play ultra in crysis 3 then no biggie, 660 TI is a great value and you can SLI another later if you really want that 670 performance on later games.

+1 on G's build

That's debatable. The 7870 GHz edition will get you slightly better frame rates than the 660TI will for less money, the 7950 is a bit better for not that much more if you want to stick around that price range.
