Whats the system going to be used for?

Mainly for playing games such as Battlefield 4 and newer version when released and some other 3D shooter games.

Want to ensure it has 3 or 4 years without having to upgrade to much.

Its a no overclockable build. imho you should buy a good h97 motherboard and the strongest AMD single gpu:

Have been looking at the Thermaltake Core V51 (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/thermaltake-core-v51,27641.html) as an alternative Case and not real sure about what the right Power Supply would be suitable for this system so had a guess.

Final question is regarding the Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive. Is this the best option for storage of files on top of my 250gb SSD drive or would some other arrangement be better?

A 120GB-250GB SSD + 7200RPM Seagate/WD is usually the best option for a gaming build. For your price range you could even get a superior GTX780.
