Hey,

I'm looking to buy a 120/144hz budget display for use as a primary display. This would be put alongside a AOC 24" 60hz secondary display for a dual screen setup.

I had a look around and I found a lot of mentions of the following:
-Asus VG248QE
-BenQ ZOWIE XL2411
-Asus VF248QE
-Acer GN246HLB

Is this list still relevant, and if so what would be best to get, barring some of these are a little over my budget.

Also below is the template:

1. What Is Your Country Of Origin?
UK
2. What do you plan to do with this monitor? (ex. Games, Movie Watching, Photo Editing, etc.)
Games & everyday stuff
3. What resolution and screen size do you want?
1080p, 24" preferrably, can be 27"
4. What refresh rate do you want? (ex. 60 hz , 70 hz.)
120/144hz
5. How much are you looking to spend?
£200~, unless there is a monitor thats like £220-250 and its worth the extra little bit
6. Brands Preferred (ex. Samsung, Acer, Asus, AOC, HP, Viewsonic, etc. )
Not very picky as long as its a known brand.
7. Brands Not Preferred (state reason why)
complete no-names
8. Are You Buying More Than One Monitor?
Nope, just one as a primary
9. How Many Displays Can Your GPU Support Maximum? And what GPU and driver version are you using if applicable?
Not sure, got a MSI GTX 970 twin razr, so 1x HDMI (is used for the secondary AOC monitor), 1x DisplayPort, 1x DVI-D, 1x DVI-I
10. What Port Do You Want To Connect To (ex. DVI-D, HDMI, etc).
anything outside the HDMI
11. Is This Monitor A Primary Display Or A Secondary Display?
Primary
12. Is This A Secondary Display For A Laptop?
No

There seems to be a fair bit of topics on this already but a lot are from last year, so I'm wondering if anything has changed since.

Thanks,

Krys

The VG248QE, XL2411, and GN246HL are some of the first 144 Hz monitors ever made, they are extremely old models and not a good value.

The ViewSonix XG2401 or XG2402, or the AOC G2460PF are much better options for around the same price.
