1. What is your budget?
£500-£550 <~> $750-$850

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
normal, 15.6'' at least 15''

3. What screen resolution do you want?
not sure

5. How much battery life do you need?
~5 hours would be nice, but mainly for home use

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
No, not really, maybe ocasionaly something like fifa 11 or 12 or anything like that at Medium so the GPU is not really important

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Nothing but browsing the web, watching movies, listen to music.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
at least 300G but it would be nice to have an ssd in it and maybe i'll use an external HDD for movies and stuff, I think 128G ssd would do the trick right? or an sshd maybe, are they any good?

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/ http://www.ebay.co.uk/ anything that would work well with London, and not have to pay for shipping taxes or anything like that

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
hopefully about 3-4 years, as i said i'm interested in watching movies and listen music.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Doesn't matter

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
Don't know too much about laptops.

13. What country do you live in?
United Kingdom

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
Well the laptop is for my brother, he lives in London so please keep that in mind, what he expects from the laptop is to work fast, that's why it would be nice to have an ssd or sshd (if they're any good). He want's to watch movies, listen music, watch movies online, itunes and things like that. Something that he will use and not stop working in 2 weeks it would be nice if he can't get the psu over 50% and i guess that with just chrome and skype and maybe a movie running(not full hd) so even if he has all this running he can still check he's facebook without any problems.
He may also play some facebook games so that should work pretty well too.

He's willing to pay about 500 pounds maybe more if it's worth the money.

Thanks a lot
