Looking to buy a new graphics card

Hi everyone! Currently I have a GTX 960 4gb and I'm looking at getting a GTX 1060 is it worth it? will I see much better performance? I am rocking a i5 6600k with 8gb of ram (soon to be 16gb) playing at 1080p on a 144hz monitor.

It's like going to a 980 in old money. So yes a decent jump.

If you can stretch, a 1070 will give you 1080p120 in most stuff.
