[SOLVED] Looking to buy a new monitor with a budget

So right now with my current PC I am running a dual monitor setup with monitors that are about 5 years old and I am looking to upgrade to something better that my graphics card can take advantage of. My monitors are 20 inches with a resolution of 1600x900 and a refresh rate of 60Hz. My current PC specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 (3.1 GHz)
Memory: 16GB DDR4 2800 MHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti DDR5 8GB

I was looking to upgrade to something that is within the $600 range and this monitor will be used for productivity and gaming. I don't really have any requirements than staying under the budget, but I would like the resolution to be either 1080p or 1440p and have a high refresh rate. I am no expert on monitors and any help is appreciated.

Ah, there is ultrawide which I have not yet experienced. I'd like to try it!

It's tough to go back to 16:9 once you've experienced 21:9. The only thing you need to do is a little bit of research to either make sure your games support this (quite a few do) or if not there's typically a fix.
