Looking to buy an ssd.

I'm building my first computer soon. I will have a 1TB hdd. If I get an ssd will 120gb be enough?

Depending on what you intend to put in your SSD, it should be enough. I'd suggest you to get the Samsung 840 Evo 120GB, as it has a great price/performance ratio and well..... it's amazing 😛.

Don't «spam» games into your SSD, the only thing you might notice is better frames per second whilst recording to the other disk (Only if you are recording) and you'll notice that games open faster, nothing else. The OS is indeed important to be put in the SSD as it makes turning on your PC a wonderful experience: *click button* Boom, login menu 😀 !

What does spam mean? And that's why I wanted an ssd was for the o.s.

Spam is the act of sending repetitive messages to a great number of people but in this case it means putting a large amount of games in your SSD. For the OS it'll be more than enough, although I think it isn't worth it.... If it's just for OS a 80-90 GBs one will be enough.

In addition to the operating system, I also put my Adobe programs on the ssd. Photoshop opens nearly instantly, was so sluggish on my harddrive on my last computer.
