I'm looking to purchase a test GPU to see if there is an issue with my GTX 1070. Any suggestions for which one I should buy to get an accurate diagnosis? I don't want to spend too much, of course. Cheers.

I'm having a lot of audio and display issues. I have a monitor and two TVs hooked up to my GPU. The monitor is generally fine. However, on my 65in lg TV it the picture constantly cuts out rendering the screen black for a second or so every few moments.

The second TV has mostly audio issues. Everytime I unpause anything with sound it takes two seconds for the audio to come on. Secondly the right channel keeps dropping. When it does this and for how long I don't know. I just notice it when I play songs like Bohemian Rhapsody where portions of silence demonstrate that the right channel isn't working.

I have had these issues escalated to high level technicians at both Microsoft and Nvidia. I have had my OS and GPU drivers un/reinstalled more times than I care to remember. I have also been told by them this is more than likely a GPU issue. I don't rule out the TV with the audio issues being faulty. Just been a nightmare trying to isolate the issue.

Your CPU has integrated graphics so you could just remove the 1070 and connect the monitors via the motherboard.
Good call. I didn't know you could do that. The plot thickens. Removed the GPU. The blacking out stopped. The two second delay on audio has also stopped. I think the single channel on my second TV is in fact the TV. The stuttering has all but diminished but it's still there slightly. All really confusing. Thanks for the help.

With those issue stopping or lessened then I'd suspect the 1070, is it still under warranty?

Sadly no. What should I do with this 1070 now? I couldn't in conscience sell it.
Try to find a family member or friend that can try out the 1070 one last time to ensure its the card, Heaven benchmark would work well. If your near Massachusetts I could help you out with it. If it works flawlessly then we'll need to figure out what else it could be but if the card is artifact then there's little you can do but replace it. At it seems like it's still somewhat usable until you can get another one and you may be able to sell it as parts.

That's very gracious of you. Unfortunately I'm over 3000 miles away in the UK. I sincerely wish I could take up your offer as I am very much alone PC wise by way of friend or family. I'm getting surprisingly decent performance out of my i5 and it's a relief to be getting somewhere with this even if it means buying a new GPU. Thanks for your support.
