My specs:
APU: AMD A8-6600K Quad Core 3.9GHz (can go 4.2 but I don't have a reason to overclock)
Integrated Graphics AMD Radeon HD 8570D
8GB Kingston DDR3 RAM 1600MHz
1000GB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm, 64MB cache Hard Disk
Power Supply 500W WinPower Plus ad-e500ae-a5/a6
Motherboard GIGABYTE ga-f2a58m

Ok after doing some thinking I thought it would be time to upgrade parts of my rig, I would like to buy a whole new set up but I don't have the money for that. My estimate budget is £150-240 and I am looking into getting a new graphics card. Something that can run Witcher 3 like that near enough 60 fps ultra. Now I looked at my PSU and I got given a crappy one which doesn't have a PCIE port on it so I can't even hook a graphics card on it (it was like £10 not a good sign). So I would like to ask everyone there various combinations of what PSU I should get for my rig and what graphics card that can run the demanding games out there on high/ultra. Also you can give me any suggestions from both Nvidia or AMD I don't mind.

You can buy the r9 280x + xfx 650W PSU ( or the xfx550 a few £ less), and you will be able to play the game.

Thank you for the response. I like your suggestion a lot. What would be the Nvidia equvilant to a R9 280x? And would it be worth considering Nvidia

Ok doing research and stuff and I might go for the R9 280x, should I worry about heat or bottlenecking? I haven't come across issues with so i want to be sure my CPU could handle a R9 280x whilst playing games such as Witcher 3 and Mortal Kombat X on high eeeeek

If you are worry about the heat for the 280x, about the newer version r9 380.
The a8 6600k will be fine for the Witcher 3, I am not sure for Mortal Kombat X but from the info I found the game is cpu intensive game so you may have little bit cpu bottleneck.
