Question Looking to finally upgrade monitor

I've been playing on a 1080p 60hz monitor forever now and really want to upgrade. The 2 things I am looking for in a monitor is 144hz+ and GSync. I've come down to these 2 and can't decide. Asus PG248Q and the Dell S2417DG. I've got a GTX 1070 BTW. Thanks and I'm open to other monitor suggestions as well, don't want to spend more than $400.

Assuming your primary focus is gaming and only on single monitor
Dell S2417DG = 24"/TN/1440/180hz/gsync
Asus PG248Q = 24"/TN/1080/165hz/gsync

Looking at these specs gtx 1070 should be able to drive either but Dell gives you more pixels so I would recommend to go for it.
Is there anything in particular/feature holding you back ?
