Looking to find decent gaming laptop $1,000-$1,500

Looking to find a decent portable laptop which can hold it's own as a gaming laptop. I do a lot of travelling on hotel internet. Battery life not the most important feature but it wouldn't hurt. Weight only somewhat a factor. Smallish screen size not a deal breaker.

1. You probably want to wait for Skylake and the new models that will come with it (you've probably notice there aren't many laptops with Broadwell)

2. For those games, you don't need the most powerful GPU
