I'm looking to upgrade from my laptop, to a desktop that is better for gaming / photo shop editing ect. My PC laptop specs are
16G Ram, Intel Core i7 4700 HQ 2.40GHz,
64bit system, Windows 8.1, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M, I have about a 1TB hard drive as well. Not too concerned about space. But lastly I want to be around the budget of 1000$, my laptop was a premade which works well, but I know it could do better, and plus there are heating issues, and the lack of space to expand if necessary. I used to build computers, but always undr supervision and under advice, just because I get worried if I'm not selecting the best quality and price.

This is a good ~$1000 USD build. You will have better performance in games and Photoshop.

So if I got that with what you listed it should all work together? Compatibility wise?

Of course!

^ Thank you! I'm probably going to go with that in the next month, when I save a bit more.

Oh yeah last question, for video editing, like Sony Vegas, or music editing, would that CPU be good enough?
