I am looking to get better fps in player unknown battlegrounds without spending money. I know that the minimum requirements are amd fx 6300 and gtx 660 and 8g ram

My current specs are

AMD fx 4300
gtx 950
8gb ram
gigabyte 78lmt-s2p

Is there anyway I would be able to get better frames without spending more than like 150?

Whilst i agree with above suggestions, the recommendations are blunt, i'll help refine.

I would personally use your $150 budget for a CPU upgrade but this will require a new Motherboard and RAM for a good upgrade and to a modern socket at that. Even a cheap Pentium G4560 will outperform the FX 6 Cores in games especially those that are single-thread intensive. Whilst you GPU isn't a super powerful card, it's modest and easily capable of running PUBG when paired with a more capable CPU. From your budget this seems like the best option:

If you could overclock the CPU it would help a lot as PlayerUnknown is single thread. However you have a low quality motherboard and I wouldn't really recommend it.

In the mean time lower your graphics settings as much as possible and overclock your GPU as much as possible using MSI afterburner. If your GPU is currently working at 100%, overclocking should yield 15-20% better frames.

I play PlayerUknown a lot and even with my i7 7700k @ 5Ghz + GTX 1070 O/C I have to turn my settings down. It's just not optimized yet.

I would recommend you upgrade to Intel and the GTX 10 series as soon you can afford it.

Okay thanks. I figured I couldn't do much with my current specs besides overclocking. I thought maybe upgrading to an fx 6300 would help but I don't think it will.

It's slightly over budget but the best you can do with that much. It should help PUBG greatly and it is easily upgradable should you have more money later. You can always chuck in another 8GB kit of RAM for 16GB later and CPU can be swapped to an i5/i7 if you ever feel the want/need. With this, the build should be great for 1080p the settings i would recommend (even on a higher end system, i run the game at quite low settings simply because lack of optimisation and of course, competitive edge since grass and shadows only get in the way). Try > 100% Resolution scale, Ultra AA + PostFX but Very Low for everything else. Yes this won't look beautiful but should give you achievable FPS and i'm sure as a player you understand Very Low foliage, shadows and such only means it's easier to see enemy players. Should you get more money later, a new GPU wouldn't be so bad try save up for RX 570 4GB > RX 580 8GB > GTX 1070 > GTX 1080, etc. In order of cheaper/weaker to dearer/stronger. Hope this helps :)

Thank you :) I think I am going to wait and see how the optimization goes and then get new upgrades from there when I have more money. My biggest problem is I have never installed a new motherboard so I am scared to replace new parts.

It's not hard, there are plenty of tutorials online or even ask around here when it comes time and you need help. But if it comes down to it, you can always ask a local PC shop / someone local working in I.T to help they shouldn't charge much if anything at all.
