I am debating on getting a 1650 okay laptop and an Xbox series x, or a good 2060 that will last for around 4 years. I need an new laptop anyway.

1. What is your budget?

For the 1650, $650-800. For the 2060, $1000- 1200

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

15'6- 17

3. What screen resolution do you want?

I guess 1920 x 1080? I am planning on hooking the laptop up to a tv most of the time

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

Somewhat portable, I would move it between a few room and sometimes bring it in the car.

5. How much battery life do you need?

Maybe around 3-5 hours? It would be plugged in most of the time when gaming

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

Destiny 2, GTAV, Temtem, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassins Creed series, Anthem, Impossible Creatures, The Division 2, Watch Dogs 2, Civ 6, WoW, and most AAA titles. Most important are Destiny 2, GTA V, Temtem, and Assasins Creed Origins, Oddysey and Valhalla, and Impossible Creatures. Also Ghost of Tshushima, Spiderman, and Godfall if they ever come to pc.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

I may use Windows Movie Maker and file converters sometimes

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

512 ssd wold be nice. If it comes with a 1tb HDD that would be great.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

I am looking at these two laptops right now, but am open to other options.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?

At least 4 years

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?

I dont really know what this means. Do you mean for discs? I may use a mouse to play.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

I have a regular Asus laptop right now that has worked pretty well for 8 years, only needing to be repaired two times for a screen issue and a broken keyboard. However, I have heard that Asus gaming laptops can overheat and damage the motherboard and processor, which I'm worried about

13. What country do you live in?

USA

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

I'm mostly looking for a laptop that can compete with the new consoles, maybe do a bit better. I do not want a desktop.

Also, would I be able to stream the xbox games I already own onto the laptop, hopefully in better quality? I know about play anywhere, but am wondering about titles that aren't on there. My router and modem are downstairs, and my laptop and xbox are upstairs.

The Asus TUF are good bang for the buck performers but have pretty crap keyboards and screens. If you don't mind then get one of them.
