looking to get started for A+ certification.

I want to start working towards getting A+ certification but i don't know where to start. I live in canada so i'm not sure if it's international or just for the U.S. Can someone help me get started?

So many different factors with this. Are you looking to take a course online or just buy the books and study? What timeline are you looking for and what is the budget you are looking at?

I'm fairly certain that anybody in the world can get CompTIA A+ certifications. I will say that it's a very good cert to start with and can open several doors career wise. If you're seriously looking for them and want to start ASAP, a university in Virginia is hosting an online course that starts tomorrow. http://ait.gmu.edu/virtualacademy/schedule/

One thing I like about university offerings is that you know they usually give great professors, a lot of materials, and the information is delivered in a good way. However, one thing I like about self study is the cost 😛

You need to know what works for you. If you want it done, out of the way, and as little worrying as possible, I'd look into signing up for a class.
