Looking to increase my bandwidth

I would like to increase my satellite bandwidth of 10 gig's by using my DSL which I get free but don't use by adding a new modem. Is this possible or do any of you have a better suggestion. Thanks

I have an excede internet satellite account with 10 gig limit. I all have a Verizon account with DSL included as a package, which I don't use. I very often exceed my limit and the satellite connection drops to dial up speed. When that happens I would like to use my unused DSL, I don't if this is possible, I have have a Lenovo desktop running windows 8.1 and have a small (3 machine) network hard wired and wireless for one. The reason I don't just use the Verizon DSL is that the service is so poor and I'm on a copper line the problems are great, I'm not sure that this is what you need, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Basically, you'd just disconnect the satellite connection when you go over the cap. Connect up the DSL and use that until next month.
