Looking to install a new ssd

Solution
That is exactly what @Snipergod87 said. It is an SLC CACHE on the drive. I will say a 120GB disk for the OS is too small any more. You have to spend too much time managing storage on your C: drive. Save some more and get a 240GB then you won't have to watch it all the time.

Do you mean SLC or a SSD with a SLC buffer.

SLC SSD's are going to be around 3x+ more expensive than a TLC SSD at the same capacity.
So a 512GB TLC SSD @ $130, would be $390+ for a SLC 512GB

This is what i am considering please tell me whether it is an slc buffet or slc.Its written slc caching in the description thanks for the reply:)

The reason I wanted to install an ssd is

My config:
Cpu:i7-8550U
Ram:8gigs,2400mhz
Gpu:940mx gets the job done
Hdd:a 2TB (5400 rpm)
The hdd is a bottle neck for the speeds so that is the reason I wanted an ssd
