I have budget of around $1000. I'm looking for suggestions/help before I go out and buy the parts! Also i plan on buying my 980ti through jet for $580 using the new customer discount of 15%.

Link to the 980 ti I plan on getting: https://jet.com/product/Zotac-ZT-90501-10P-GeForce-GTX-980-Ti-Graphic-Card-1-GHz-Core-108-GHz-Boost-Cloc/1a89cd5dccaf4e618f95e926853b081c

I'm looking for thoughts/suggestions. Thank you!

Yes. The psu is the only bad unit. Its a tier four unit, not recommended.

I would recommend something from SeaSonic, as they make the best units on the market and better look for Gold certificated ones. Alternatively a little cheaper Bronze version.

For the other parts, you could go cheaper with:
1 tb hd model from hitachi

and a case from NZXT

That is a pretty good deal on a 980ti. I'd avoid the segate HDDs, they fail fairly often, and Corsair's low-end PSUs are also garbage.
