Question Looking to modernize fan / lighting setup in older rig

So I have a rig that I built in 2019 that I'm getting ready for a major overhaul for when Ryzen 8000 is released next year. My case is still functional and looks good, so I don't plan on ditching that. I already bought a new PSU in anticipation of a GPU upgrade (current GPU will go to another system). I'm currently running a Ryzen 7 5800X on an older B450 motherboard. I kind of have an idea of what I want but am seeking confirmation on it.

Here is the configuration as stands:

Phanteks Enthoo Pro M
Corsair RM1000X Shift PSU
Asus ROG Strix B450 Gaming-F
Ryzen 7 5800X
Cryorig H5 Cooler
1TB Samsung 980 Pro
1TB SK Hynix P41 Platinum
Pioneer BDR-205
32GB G Skill Ripjaw V DDR4-3600
Gigabyte GeForce 3060TI (will eventually be upgraded to 3080 after home PC gets upgraded to Radeon 7900XT)

The cooling configuration as it stands right now is that I have one Corsair LL140 as an exhaust fan, the Cryorig tower, and two Corsair LL140 fans in the front of the case. I also have Corsair lighting. My plan is to gut all of that and replace it with NZXT fans and lighting because I want to replace the Cryorig with an NZXT Kraken Elite 240, Hue+ and NZXT fans so that way I have uniform lighting through the case. So my question is, is that doable in this case? Am I overthinking this setup? Is there another lighting / cooling kit that I should be considering that's better / cheaper?

I think its a fine idea.
2 or 3 RGB fans in the front, one on the back, and 2 on top from the AIO ( assuming that's where you will be mounting it). Since the fans on the NZXT Kraken Elite 240 are F120 RGB Core, its only right to put the same fans in the rest of the case.
F120 RGB Core F140 RGB Core
Also you could buy one of these RGB GPU brackets. It would overall bring more light to the bottom part of the case, not to mention it would help with sagging.
Depending on the GPU, lets say if it has RGB around its fans, you could buy a vertical mounting kit and expose the fans to the outside of the case, showing the RGB around fans. Or buy some LED strip.
These are just a couple of ideas, but it is kind of difficult to give advice without having a actual picture in front of you, so if you don't mind..

So in the case, I can have max 3 x 140mm fans in the front and I can install up to a 360mm radiator in the top fan slots but that's assuming there's no BD-R drive. I do use the BD-R drive bay but I can easily remove that if it proves to be too much of an inconvenience.

I don't have a current picture of this particular rig, but here's how it looked when I first built it. The case hasn't changed, but some of the parts definitely have:

Ok so what I would do is:
Rear: 1x140mm F140 RGB core NZXT fan
Top: NZXT Kraken Elite 360mm AIO
Front: 3x140mm F140RGB core NZXT fan
I would add the RGB GPU bracket , to lighten up the bottom part of the case a bit, or if you want to vertically mount your RTX 3080 in the future, I would get something like this.

Edit: Jeez man are you sure you have the budget for all of this

Yeah that's why I'm upgrading this system incrementally. Those RGB fans are expensive. LOL.

I think just getting the Corsair H100i might be cheaper, but even the 3 pack of 140mm fans was somewhere around $150. I'm not sure if my GPU will support that bracket though. I'm thinking I will go with the 240mm and then I won't have to remove my BD-R burner. I would still replace the intake and exhaust fans because they're several years old now.

I was looking at the Lian Li fans because they were significantly cheaper, Only downside there is that I won't have uniform lighting.

That Corsair setup would work and look good.
H100i looks amazing too, not a bad choice.
Honestly I agree with you on the uniform lighting, it can be difficult to synchronize 3 different types of fans lol
