I've been looking around for a new headset for a new computer build. I've come across lots of different types of headsets but am stumped on which I should purchase. I want to get one that has good audio and a good microphone. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

I've been looking for a decent headset as well for the past week and there are so many different options that it can be overwhelming. On the higher end of my price point, I'm stuck between the Sennheiser PC 360 ( ~ $160) and Skullcandy PLYR 1 (~ $180). The PC 360's are said to have awesome sound quality and the mic is on the better end of gaming headsets in general. The bass might not be up to par if you're really into that "booming" sound though. The PLYR 1's are said to have good quality sound as well and the bass is more up to par for my taste, but the 360's are better for sound whoring. The PLYR 1's do have the advantage of being wireless and compatible across all platforms out of the box.
