Looking to purchase a printer and usb print server

I work for a small-medium company, and we are looking to put a printer in a room for two seperate computers to access, we have an active directory domain set up, but we are looking to buy a certain printer do to a good price we are able to get Brother HL-2140 http://www.officemax.com/catalog/sku.jsp?productId=prod1280004&history=7o8lcx3v|prodPage~15^freeText~hl-2140^paramValue~true^refine~1^region~1^param~return_skus^return_skus~Y

and we are going to need a print server but I am just worried about finding a compatible one because I keep reading online about print servers being picky about what printers they will work on, we are looking for lower budget items. I have never set up a print server before so not sure if the all include it, but it must be able to have a static IP
