Keeping it brief,
Nintendo 3DS (classic/North America Region) damaged by water, no longer turns on or receives power. System transfer is therefore (probably) not possible. However all DLC for owned games was saved on a separate microSD, and all cartridges were stowed separately so no damage there. Two questions:
1) Can I access these additional content files in a replacement (same model) 3DS classic?
2) Can I access these additional content files if the replacement 3DS is a the NEW 3DS XL model?
Note: I don't care about the progress on games, it's the potential of losing all that DLC (no longer downloadable if Nintendo shut down the shop) which concerns me.
