Question Looking to replace corsair CX750M

I bought a pre-built PC a few years ago and recently noticed a burning smell from my PSU and found out it's not uncommon for the installed Corsair CX750M unit. So I'm looking to replace it (PSU warranty expired and I need to be able to work with it again quickly) but am far from an expert and unsure what I need (size, power supply, number of cables). I'm confident I can figure out how to install the replacement but would appreciate some tipps on what an appropriate replacement is. I'm based in Switzerland if that matters.

Thanks for your help.

The exact build is (with 1 additional HDD):

Well, there are not many people from Switzerland here, you should link some local online stores to choose from. But it's probably safe to assume that you can order from Germany just fine, right ? In that's the case look at these :

Check out the PSU tier thread from a few days ago HERE.
Thanks! I did look at that similar lists prior to posting but didn‘t even know where to start how to determine which could be the right one and already saw myself trying to install something without the right connectors or too little or way too much power. Hence the cry for help...

Thanks a lot for the suggestions! I‘m sure I‘ll be able to find those online in Switzerland as well.
I‘ll check them out!

Well, if you can't order from Germany then these recommendations are most likely obsolete, check the tier list then and look what you have there yourself.

I'm rather more comfortable (so far) with the first post from the following:

I have to echo @jonnyguru 's surprise. While the CX750M wouldn't be my first chocie, where did you find that a burning smell is not uncommon for that PSU? That sounds completely wrong.
Yeah. I mean... the smell of flux on the PCB is not unusual, but usually that's something you smell after the first few months and it goes away within the year. I've never seen anything that says "Corsair CX750M PSU's frequently smell like they're burning and therefore should be replaced."

Then again, I can get a Google result for just about anything. Did you know that Donald Trump is holding Queen Elizabeth prisoner because she was part of that whole PizzaGate thing?
