Looking to set up a 3 monitor extended display without using a DP

I have an Acer E1-522 Laptop and I want to hook up 3 monitors but my "Display Settings" will only detect two. I bought a VGA splitter thinking that it would turn one VGA output into two, but it looks like all I can do is duplicate the displays. Can someone help me set up a 3 monitor extended display on this laptop without using a DP port? Because the computer doesn't have one.

How many display outputs does your system have?
If it has an extra 2, then you can set up 2 monitors plus your laptop screen.
Otherwise, you're stuck with a laptop screen and 1 other screen.
