Hey guys, so i'm new here and this is my first post but from the other forums, you guys seem to be very helpful. My question is; my rig is definitely outdated in most parts. I want to progressively upgrade it as time goes on so I don't go broke all at once. I want to start off by buying a new mobo, CPU and SSD. I mainly do a lot of video editing (film major) and gaming on my computer, what would you recommend for mobo and CPU? I also want to stick with Intel and that is just my opinion. Me and my dad built this computer plenty of years back so I definitely have some old components I know, that is why I want to upgrade.
Here are my specs (dont laugh):
Asus P5N-D
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8400 @3.00 GHz
Fatal1ty 550W PSU
4GB RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX 660
NZXT Phantom 410 (Gunmetal) case
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Seagate Barracuda 320GB HDD
WD Caviar Black 640GB HDD
