I have a 8150 8 core processor ( I know, I'm saving up for a separate Intel gaming PC)
My power supply is 700 watts
My motherboard is Asus M5A97 R2.0 ATX AM3+

Looking to see a huge jump in fps & I only plan on playing in 1080p

Budget would be 350-400

Metro Last light seems to be giving me tons of problems right now.

I can't speak for the 660 Ti, but to be honest, i got a hd7870 back in november, and I game at 1080p, and there haven't been many games that I can't max at that resolution and get solid FPS. about the only game where that's the case is metro 2033.. but come on.. it's a short single player shooter game. Battlefield 3 runs flawlessly maxed out online, so i'm happy with it

just like the original crysis. Short linear first person shooter game that runs like shit no matter what. Used for quite some time as a "benchmark game" but once the fancy new graphics and physics lost their sheen, and it still ran like shit on monster rigs, it became obvious that the game didn't have huge requirements due to "next-gen" features, but more so due to a lack of good optimization of the game engine for existing hardware.

Save your money for the next gen cards, have you tried to overclock your card? Download EVGA Precision and see if you can get a stable overclock that gives you the boost in FPS you are looking for. Also future driver updates should see a slight rise as well.
