Looking to upgrade, but...

Hi all.

I built my PC two years ago, and I've recently been itching to upgrade. However, I'm really not sure what direction I should take. Even though my build was relatively cheap, I still get all the performance I need for gaming. Here's what I'm running:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 455 Rana 3.3GHz (unlocked 4th core)
MOBO: ASRock M3A770DE AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard
GPU: MSI N460GTX Cyclone 768D5/OC GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 768MB
RAM: 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR3 1600 (Unsure of brand - it was a recent gift)
PSU: Antec BP550 Plus 550W
Case: Rosewill DESTROYER Black Gaming ATX

Here's the thing. I have a ~$150 Amazon gift card sitting around. I wouldn't mind using it on a few games, as they crop up. On the other hand, part of me wants to wait until an amazing deal pops up on a video card. And yet another part of me wouldn't mind springing for a nice new monitor, or a case that will last me for years to come, or the list goes on. As you might have noticed, I'm a bit indecisive... at least in this situation.

The main things I'm interested in are value and longevity, which at my budget might be mutually exclusive. I'd be fine with spending a bit over that $150 gift card, but not by much more than $50, if that. And while this may entirely derail my topic, I'm worried about needing to build a new PC from the ground up if I don't start to upgrade soon, and I'm also worried about upgrading my current rig and then STILL needing to build a brand new PC from the ground up after shelling out for some upgrades. I'm apparently worried a lot.

In the end, I'm entirely prepared to buy absolutely nothing. But if you were in my shoes, what would YOU do?

Thanks for bearing with me!

I agree that $150 is a tight budget, but what about a Radeon 7850 series? Unless I'm mistaken, wouldn't that give me a nice upgrade, and provide a bit of future proofing if I went with the 2 gig model?

As for monitors, I certainly wouldn't mind a new one. Any suggestions on what to buy, or resources to help me pick one? Thanks again!
