Looking to upgrade first gaming rig from 2014, need budget suggestions

Hello!

I'm looking to upgrade my first pc build that I did during 2014 and need bang for buck suggestions.

I can feel that my computer is getting sluggish and cant meet up with many AAA titles.
I want to spend about a budget of 500-600 dollars for upgrades that I could potentially buy during black Friday or Boxing day to further save on money.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly,

This isn't a bad set up. the GTX 770 can still handle a few games. You might want to consider a Windows re-install.

You can upgrade to an i7, the power supply, and probably another 8GB of RAM. Or if you want an overhaul, you can look into something like:
