Looking to upgrade for best Ark experience

Hey guys, so I've been out of the loop for ages and would like some help picking out parts so Ark is playable. My current build is ok for everything I do but crashes in my single player ark base about every 20 mins and gets very annoying. I'd like to get the best graphics I can for my budget but keep in mind I am only playing on 1080x1920 and I have no plans on going higher yet. I only play single player but would like to eventually host a small server with 2-3 people so we can play the expansions.

My current PC:
Case: DIYPC Vanguard-RGB ATX Mid Tower
Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
RAM: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB
MB: ASRock H97M Anniversary
Graphics: Gigabyte Radeon R9 380 2GB
Power Supply: XFX 550W
HD: Crucial MX300 275GB SSD
Seagate FireCuda Gaming SSHD 2TB ST2000DX002

I have about $1000 to spend with a little wiggle room ($200ish) and I'd like to buy around black Friday and cyber Monday to get the best deals. I don't want to get a new case as I love this one and I want to stick with my current hard drives. Please don't include cases and storage in the build, I'd rather my money go toward everything else.

I'm looking for a new graphics card, processor, motherboard, ram, power supply (if needed) and some kind of after market cooler. Feel free to leave suggestions for anything! Especially if you have a machine that handles ark well.
