Looking to upgrade from GTX 680

Current system specs
GPU: GTX 680
CPU: Core i7-4770K @ 3.5 GHz
32 GB RAM
Win 7 64 Bit
Native Resolution 2560x1600

I'm currently considering the GTX 780, 970, and 980, but I'm open to other suggestions as well. I'm looking for a single card setup (air cooled) and I would like to keep the price relatively low (no more than ~500-600) which doesn't appear to be too much of an issue. I would like to stay with Nvidia products (preferably EVGA) and don't plan on overclocking because of heat.

I want to be able to maintain at least 60fps when things get intense in both current and future games at my native resolution. I will be playing games like ArmA, Metro, AC Unity, Witcher 2-3, and FarCry, and I have been maxing out at ~45-50fps in some of these on low-medium settings if I'm lucky. Thanks.

Nothing less than 970 from 680. There is also alot of great prices of 290's lately.

If You want a real jump from 680, I'd hit 2 x GTX 970 into SLi. That will maintain Your framerate above 60fps, and will leave Your wallet full [more full ]
