Use case is = 50% photos (LIghtroom / Photoshop), 25% Video Editing (premiere), mostly 4k footage from gopro & sony A6500, and 25% casual gaming.
Current build:
Corsair HX750 PSU
Asrock Z77 Extreme4
Core i7 3770k @ 4.4Ghz w/ Coolermaster cpu cooler
RTX2060 Super
32GB Ram
Samsung 860 1tb boot / os drive (SATA)
Last time I updated this computer (except for the graphics card which was a few weeks ago) was
I have a LG 4k monitor as well but usually games are just played at 2560x1440.
almost all my files are on a synology ds918+ , i keep very little on my pc locally other than cache files and temporary files when video editing.
I was thinking of going to a amd 3700x and a x570 montherboard, 2x16GB of ddr4 memory for now, and a 1tb M2 ssd.
Here is what I was thinking: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PBTJsZ
Would I expect a good improvement? My 3770k has been good but struggles when it comes to 4k editing. I've heard intel is still better for premiere pro but i use a lot of other programs also (lightroom) so i'm not stuck on it, i was considering an i7-9700k also.
