Looking to upgrade from Radeon HD 7570 for gaming

We bought an HP Envy h8-1534 last August for a low-budget gaming computer. In hindsight this wasn't the best decision and it really hasn't kept up with our needs. There's a lot of lag, low FPS, and glitchy graphics at even medium overall graphics quality settings. We're hoping by upgrading the graphics card (AMD Radeon HD 7570 2GB) we can get the system up to snuff.

Here are some of the games we're having trouble with: Planetside 2, World of Tanks, Starcraft II, Civilization V, World of War Planes, War Thunder,

Right now, the system has an internal power supply of 460w, so I'm hoping that means we won't have to replace the PSU.

Looking forward to any advice and/or words of wisdom.

For a moderately powered machine you will indeed need to upgrade the PSU (mostly because HP power supplies are overrated for power output). Fortunately, there are many on sale right now. Any idea what you are willing to spend? $220 would get you a nice GPU and PSU.

Well, as I can see your build has a fx 6200 but I really don´t think that Psu can go any further than a hd 7770, you have to check if it has a graphic card six pin cable.

I have the same desktop as the original poster except 1GB AMD Radeon HD 7570. I did upgrade the power supply to 600W when I ordered it. I'm looking for best video card upgrade in the $100-$200 range. Preferably around $150. I saw on other boards that the MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB for about $155 is decent. Thanks for all the suggestions.
