Question Looking to upgrade graphic card for VR - GTX 970 to possibly RTX 2060?

Current Specs:
i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz
16 GB RAM
1000 Power Supply
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970

Looking to upgrade to possibly RTX 2060, or similar? I do both gaming on monitor and VR gaming (1st generation HTC Vive)... It's been a little over 4 years and I'd like to play some of the VR games with less lag / better graphics settings.

Any suggestions are welcome! I do not have a tight budget.

Both your CPU and GPU sit right around the minimum requirements for a Vive.
Even with a GPU upgrade, the CPU might be a little problematic.

Moving from a 970 though, a 2060 is the bare minimum I'd suggest to look at. You're looking at roughly 1070TI-1080 performance (nearer 1070TI).
