Ive built a new PC in march but did not upgrade graphics card as it did not fit in with my budget and my old graphics card was still not to bad and still isnt that bad but I am looking to upgrade my graphics card so my PC is future proof and I can get games without worrying about if il be able to run them properly I was thinking of getting a RTX 3060 ti whenever they are in stock but im not so sure.

My specs:
Cpu: ryzen 5 3600
Gpu: gigabyte gtx 1060 6gb
Ram: 16gb ddr 4 3200 dual 2x8
Motherboard: MSI b450 pro-vdh max
Power supply: corsair 550w 80+ gold
SSD: 500gb
HDD 1.2tb
SSD: 110gb

Solution
There is not such thing as future proof...get what you could afford.
When the times comes that a game you play or want requires more power than what your system can deliver, then upgrade.
Your system should be able to handle it.
At full load with a RTX 3060 ti your system will use less than 400W.
