What is your budget for a graphics card?
You need to make a significant jump in capability or you run the risk of disappointment if you don't see great results.

I think you should look at a card at least as strong as a GTX670 or R9-280. $200 class cards.
Both are older gen cards, and if your budget is in the $330 range, I suggest a newer gen GTX970.

Thanks. My budget is anywhere from $150 to $300. Since my computer is getting old at this point, I am trying to figure out what card will still make a discernible difference before I have to decide on buying new computer. My preference is not to do so if I can help it. I was looking at the 670 but was not sure if anything else was out there that was not discontinued? I certainly appreciate your information and ideas here!

Given my current system, upgrading to the newer generation GTX 970 sounds like a better option. Geofelt, let's say my budget is in the $330+/- range, could you suggest a few cards for me? I am not sure where to purchase the best deals but, if you have thoughts on that, I would appreciate it. Again, thanks for your help and ideas!!
