[SOLVED] looking to upgrade HELP

Current specs

Lenovo thinkstation e30
Intel E3 1240
16GB RAM
GTX 1070
EVO 256 SSD

My problem is, whenever i am gaming and trying to play music or watch videos on my second monitor, i experience some degree of choppy / laggy gameplay even though my frames stay the same.

What could i attribute this too? the CPU?

alot of the time the CPU is running 70-85% usage or higher when i am doing multitasking both.

Using the second monitor will cause issues. Get a tablet or use a phone for videos/music, will work out better.
