I'm looking to upgrade the motherboard and CPU of my build. I'm pretty sure these two parts are the most outdated and the MOBA replacement may be necessary for me to run dual monitors (only one at the moment). I'm looking for budgeting both parts combined under $300 (maybe a decent Ryzen cpu). The build is as follows:

1. MOBO - GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0 AM3

2. CPU - ADM FX 6300 six cores 3.5 GHS

3. RAM - Patriot-Viper 2x4GB (8GB) DDR3 1600
-Klevv Fit 2x4GB (8GB) DDR3 1600

4. Storage - TC Sunbow New 480GB SSD 2.5 Inch SATAIII 6GB/s
-1TB toshiba hard drive
-SanDisk Z400s 2.5" 128GB SATA III

5. GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC GAMING, ACX 2.0 (Single Fan), 6GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC), 06G-P4-6163-KR

6. Cooling system - Cooler Master MWE 600 Watt 80 Plus Bronze certified power supply

7. Case - RAIDMAX Vortex V4 ATX-404WUP Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

8. Monitor - Acer - S240HL Abid 24.0" 1920x1080 60Hz Monitor

Hoping to find a new MOBA+CPU that will increase performance and be compatible with the listed above parts. If replacements are found, would I have to purchase a new windows license? All information is greatly appreciated, thank you for assisting me with this absurdly long/detailed question.

If you have not already acquired DDR4 then you will need to allocate additional funds for that.

If you bought your windows retail then you can install it on new hardware.

If you upgraded an old version, Windows 10 activation can be moved to your windows logon, if you have set that up, so that when you install on new hardware you merely activate with your windows logon.
