Looking to upgrade my 7770 HD to 970 or R9 290, 2 Questions Inside (About CPU bottleneck)

I currently have an A10-5800K CPU

Will it bottleneck it?

I have posted the question as well in /r/buildapc and they said it wouldn't be an issue as someone had the same set up as me. I want to hear your 2nd opinion.

2nd question, if yes I can handle it, will the 970 be better than the r9 290 for my setup?

I have enough power to run them with a 750w psu

That cpu will bottle neck a 970 or a 290.
