Hey there guys here is my system info....
looking to get the best AGP card out there until I can afford to build me a new system. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks Also was looking at some of the AGP cards on tiger direct what about this one is it compatible
HIS H467QS1GHA Radeon HD 4670 IceQ Video Card - 1GB GDDR3, AGP, DVI, VGA, HDMI. Is it worth it are is there better.
This would be my last upgrade/bandaid for my stoneage computer thanks.

My current system
ASUS K8V SE DELUXE 754 VIA K8T800 ATX AMD
2 GB ram
6200 Nvidia GeForce 512mb vcard
AMD athlon 64 3000+ 2.0 Ghz

Good old socket 754. Not much room for upgrades sadly (it was unreasonably short lived). A Radeon 4670 would be an enormous upgrade from that old 6200, but it's still going to be limited by your CPU. While your CPU is going to prevent you from playing more demanding games, for any game it meets the recommended, or even sometimes minimum, requirements that 4670 will let you game.

Yeah it's compatible. The only thing is, you have to use the AGP hotfix drivers to get Radeon cards working on AGP systems. At least yours is somewhat supported. I had a 1950GT AGP on my Athlon 3000+ system and that thing was always a pain to get working just right.
