Looking to upgrade my Cpu + GPU

Currently i have got i3 3220 , 6gb ram , H61M-D2H motherboard , Zotac GTX 550ti , PSU 500W
I am gamer of all FPS games and MOBA too , also i am a 3d modeler.I was checking out some parts and found out

Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0 GHz Quad-Core Processor - $359.99
Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB DDR4 PC4-19200 Memory Module Kit (2 sticks total 8gb)- $53.76

My budget is upto 40k or 46k that is $710
The problem is my GPU will be upgrading in 2 or 3 months so the question is this upgrade substantial or should i do less and will my current 550ti bottleneck .Lastly what GPU should i use in the next 2 or 3 months

So your budget for a GPU discretely or your entire system? If for your system, then I'd recommend something like 950 or a 960. Ill get back to you on that.

It's only the cpu, motherboard and the ram should come to $710 . The graphic card will be separate amount but this will be in the next 2 or 3 months

I'd recommend more than 4 GB for skylake, maybe an 8 GB kit. I'd recommend the 980 ti depending on your budget.

its been updated right now , forgot to mention more clearly that its 8gb ram in total that i was buying because its 4gb per stick and i am buying 2 sticks.For graphic card i will keep that in mind in the coming 2 to 3 months but the build i posted up is itt good enough or do i need to make changes ?
