Hey guys. I currently have a suitable build for what i needed two years ago and it can run your simple games etc but i want to give it a slight upgrade. At the moment i only want to upgrade two parts and that is the CPU and the Motherboard.

Right now i have
CPU: AMD A10-5700
Motherboard: Asus F2A85-V PRO Motherboard

Obviously i cant upgrade my CPU because of the FM2 socket on the motherboard.

Looking at trying to find a decent bundle that will handle AAA title games.

A Part that i will upgrade a little later on is my GPU which is a Geforce GTX 750Ti 2GB but at the moment its just the cpu and motherboard that i want to upgrade.

My PSU is 500w at the moment as well if you needed that info.
Budget for CPU + Motherboard is maximum of £300

Many Thanks! :)

size mainly. size and what the extra space allows. more room for more voltage regulation, more room for extra expansion slots, more m.2 slots.
mATX has to fit in a smaller space (9.6 x 9.6 inches) so the parts chosen to populate it are more limited.
ATX (12 x 9.6 inches) will have more, more slots, more ports, more headers, more room between heat sources, more mounting holes. see

what is the speed of the hyperx you have?
ryzen loves high speed RAM.
slower RAM will pair better with a set frequency intel chip.

Great answer cleared that up. Im mainly looking at a full size motherboard. So the cpu looks great what would you recommend taking the ram out the price for a motherboard or would you still suggest the micro motherboard?

If the RAM is 2400 or lower the intel chip is the way.
