Looking to upgrade my gaming pc

I am looking to upgrade a couple things to run most triple a titles on at least high. Here are my pc specs. Please help!

Memory: 16GB DDR3 Gaming Memory
Power Supply: 500 Watt High Performance PSU
HHD: 120 gb ssd
Secondary HDD: 1tb 7200rpm hhd
Output: 9 x USB (7 X USB 2.0; 2 X USB3.0), 1 x Dual-link DVI, 3 x Display Ports, 1 x HDMI, 24 X DVD ROM

I live in the United States. I dont really have a budget but dont need anything too excessive. I have a 144hz 1ms 24in monitor

I would like a 1080 graphics card though
