Good afternoon. I am currently running Windows 10 Pro on a Dell system. I have an i5-4430 Quad Core and 24GB of ram. The system is an XPS 8700. I have a stock 460W PSU. The system currently has installed an AMD Radeon HD 7570 1GB GDDR5. I would like to upgrade to a 2GB if possible. I have been crazy going over cards and benchmarks, and would like to pay about $90. Any suggestions would be great. If you need any more information please let me know. Thanks.

Here is about the best you can do

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500333

Unless you are okay witha refurbished card like this gtx 660

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4GH3396553

If you can afford a mail in rebate you might do a little better

or this gtx 750 ti

Or this card new 95 after rebate r7 265, it would be amazing compared to what you are using now.

Thank you so much for responding. I am happy to know that my PSU can handle these. My next question, if you know, is how well Newegg deals with refurbishments and if you would rather go with a new one or a refurb.

One other question, if you don't mind. I have an Intel processor but an AMD Radeon card. One of the programs that has been on the PC since day one is NVIDIA Physx. I was never sure why with an AMD card on there, and if I even need it.

I can not advise you on the installation of physx on your pc sorry im just not savy to how that may have occurred. Perhaps the software was installed along with a game.

I wouldn't purchase a refurbished card personally, but others have without issue.
dealing with newegg is always a plus, however buying from a seller on newegg might be a little iffy I see the 660 I linked has the 1 year warranty option which may be worthwhile if you plan to go that route.

660 while a bit dated is still a pretty decent card for 1080P, the 265 even better while of similar age.

Thanks for your help. With the warranty I thought about it, but I have an issue with purchasing a refurb. I have decided to go with the ZOTAC. One last thing, if you don't mind. I have purchased a few things from Newegg in the past, it has been a bit. Do you think it is wise to grab the accidental damage or replacement plan? I think I bought something in the past where I did buy never used a plan. It is $13 for 3 years, and down from that. I usually do on more expensive purchases but I don't know what to do with something like this. Also, wouldn't the manufacturer warranty come into effect anyway?

I've never purchased accidental warranty. Accidental damage? Are you accident prone? No the manufacturers warranty doesn't cover surges, accidental installation mishaps or others. This is more a personal thing, is your psu old? is that a concern?

The card certainly won't overload your psu I know that much.

Good luck, for 13 more dollars you might want to look at a better card and simply do what everyone else does and risk it. Newegg is an amazing company to deal with so it's entirely up to you if you want to spend the money.
